Empyrean Lighting are proud to have partnered with Creative Lighting and Sydney’s SEA LIFE Aquarium to custom design a comprehensive aquarium lighting control system that replicates the diurnal cycle of Macquarie Island.
After extensive lighting design and consultation, the exhibit was constructed and various luminiares installed. The exhibit features multiple Andromeda Flood and Nebula luminiares with a range of powers, CCT’s and optics. Our luminaires were married up with state of the art technology supplied by Creative Lighting which enables the lights to run full daily cycles as the penguins require. We’re extremely proud of our efforts in achieving a great result for both Sydney Sea Lift & the penguins and are keen to continue installations of this nature.
