The project
The new Waves Car Wash facility in Phillip ACT gets illuminated with a various selection from our Andromeda LED range that will withstand the constant water pressure on site.
The Waves company extended their business by opening a brand new facility located in Phillip ACT featuring our robust Andromeda LED range. This facility features 75 Andromeda Flood, 52 Andromeda Linear and 30 Andromeda Pole Mounts luminaires which will provide safe lighting for the Waves staff to carry out their works on customer cars to ensure no spot is left untouched. The benefit of using this diverse yet robust range significantly reduces the power use for the business and eliminates maintenance costs over the life span of 60,000+ hours. The IP rating of IP66 for the Andromeda’s eliminates the risks and hazards of debris or water infiltrating the lights, they will be self cleaning in this installation due to the constant water spray.
If you are live in the Canberra area and you’re looking for your car to receive that new car feel treatment, we would recommend checking out one of Waves three locations.
Key Deliverables:
- Resilient against consistent water elements and debris of the facility
- Eliminated maintenance costs for the next 5-6 years
- Uses 50%+ less electricity than high intensity luminaires
- Robust luminaires that withstand the constant vibrations on site
